How does an examination work at our clinic?

    Before any procedure, we remove plaque and tartar. We also provide practical instructions on how to care for your teeth at home.

We treat tooth decay using aesthetic, minimally invasive composite fillings. Procedures are performed under local anaesthetic for maximum comfort. We also use a latex rubber dam to isolate the tooth being treated, ensuring a precise and hygienic procedure.

Root canal treatment is sometimes necessary to save a tooth. When decay reaches the dental pulp, it can cause inflammation, infection or nerve death. Left untreated, this can lead to bone loss or serious health complications. Our goal is to treat the issue early and preserve your natural tooth.

We restore damaged teeth using veneers, crowns, partial crowns or bridges. When a tooth is severely weakened, especially after root canal treatment, a standard filling isn’t enough. Prosthetic reconstruction strengthens the tooth and prevents future fractures. We use digital scanning instead of traditional impressions for greater comfort and precision.

When a tooth is too damaged to be saved, or a wisdom tooth is impacted, we extract it under local anaesthetic. The gap can then be filled with a bridge or a dental implant. We also offer a full range of oral surgical procedures at our clinic.

A bright, confident smile can be life-changing. We offer professional teeth whitening using custom-made trays. At your first visit, we’ll take a scan to create your trays and provide you with a set of high-quality whitening gels for at-home use.

In cases of significant tooth loss, we offer both partial and full removable dentures to restore function and appearance.

Comprehensive smile treatment, before and after

This was a complex case. The first step was orthodontic correction to bring the teeth into ideal alignment, minimising compromises in the final aesthetics. We then treated the remaining cavities, whitened the teeth and completed the transformation with custom ceramic crowns.

This case involved restoring a fractured front tooth after trauma. To achieve a natural look, we carefully matched the composite material to the original tooth colour before applying the final restoration.

This patient had a cracked and failing composite filling with deep secondary decay. We removed the old material and treated the caries, then applied a high-quality composite filling precisely matched to the tooth’s colour and shape for a seamless finish.

Frequently asked questions

Do you work with health insurance companies?

Yes. We work with all health insurance companies. At your examination or over the phone, we will be happy to explain which treatments your health insurance covers and which you pay for yourself.

How do I book an appointment?

You can book an appointment online through navstevalekara.sk (the “Book an appointment” button), call us on +421 911 970 977 or leave your details in the form and we will get back to you.

Are you accepting new patients?

Yes, we are accepting new patients, both adults and children. Your first visit is a comprehensive initial examination including an X-ray, which costs €50. You can book online through navstevalekara.sk or by phone.

How much does the initial examination cost?

A comprehensive initial examination including an X-ray costs €50 and takes about 30 minutes. A preventive check-up costs €30 for adults and €25 for children.

Do you offer oral surgery and wisdom tooth extraction?

Yes. We extract teeth under local anaesthetic. A simple extraction of a single-rooted tooth costs €40 and a surgical wisdom tooth extraction from €150. We also perform apicoectomy (root-end resection, from €140), cystectomy (€150) and frenectomy (€50).

Do you offer dental implants?

Yes. A dental implant costs from €1,000 at our clinic. We assess whether an implant is suitable for you after an examination and a 3D CT scan, which we take here at the clinic. We will tell you the exact price of your treatment before it begins.

Do you make veneers and crowns?

Yes. A veneer costs from €350 and an all-ceramic crown from €350. With veneers, you can see the result in advance: based on the design (wax-up), we create a temporary model directly in your mouth, known as a mock-up.

How much does dental hygiene cost?

Comprehensive dental hygiene costs €60, a regular recall hygiene session €40 and comprehensive dental hygiene for children up to 12 years of age €40.

How does teeth whitening work and how much does it cost?

We offer at-home whitening. At your first visit, we take a digital scan of your teeth, from which we make your whitening trays, and you receive a set of whitening gels to use at home. At-home whitening including the trays costs €300. A tooth that has darkened after root canal treatment can also be whitened from the inside (€80).

Where can I find you and is there parking?

We are at M. R. Štefánika 1046/66, 036 01 Martin. Free parking is available for our patients right next to the building. Opening hours: Monday to Thursday 8:00 to 16:00, Friday 8:00 to 14:00, closed at weekends.
